The Chef Case is located in the 2nd Street Market in Downtown Dayton and is owned by local chef Joe Fish. The food is fresh and good and they use local ingredients which is seriously cool.
This is the Chef that is always working the counter when we go to the Chef Case. We have no idea what her name is, but she is totally cool and always willing to recommend new things for us to try. She refers to Superfry as the "Food Blogger". I don't know her name, but she rocks out some great sandwiches!
This is one of the few area food establishments that offers Quinoa which is packed with protein. Quinoa is a type of grain that is high in protein and originated from the Andean Region in South America.
This was Superfry's first experience eating Sweet Potato Quinoa and he found it to be quite tasty!
The Tuscan Panini is one of the delicious sandwiches offered at the Chef Case. The sandwich is $6.99 and made with the freshest of ingredients.
Superfry loves The Tuscan Panini and highly recommends it! Grilled meats with cheese and pesto on locally made Rahn's Bread.
The Chef Case offers a variety of healthy, fresh made salads that are sold by the pound.
We also tried the Basmati Curry Rice which was also really good, but the incredible tasting Sweet Potato Quinoa is still our favorite.
One of the greatest sandwiches ever made.....Joe's Famous Chicken Panini. One bite of this thing and you will be back for more. The DEA should investigate Chef Joe on the ingredients in this thing......something is making it addictive!
The components of Joes Famous Chicken includes Grilled Chicken, Cheese, Pesto Sauce on Rahn's Bread. This is one of those sandwiches that you will keep coming back for.
The Chef Case offers Dolcessa Gelato is locally made using local and organic ingredients. Gelato has less butter, fat and air in it than traditional American ice cream. As a result, gelato is smoother, denser, creamier and more flavorful than regular ice cream.
This is the Sicilian Almond Gelato!!! Superfry craved this gelato for one week after reading a post by Dolcessa Gelato on Facebook promoting it. This gelato bursted with flavor and had pieces of almonds in it. Everyone should go to Dolcessa Gelatos Facebook page and click on Like......that way you too can enjoy their incredible and tasty treats.

They also featured Blueberry, Pomegranite Yogurt, and Strawberry Banana.
Superfry is in love with Dolcesso Gelato! This was the first time that we tried the Mint Chip Gelato in a homemade waffle cone. The Gelato was $3 and it was $1 extra for the Waffle Cone. The Gelato was amaing, but what blew our minds was the Waffle Cone! We have never had one as fresh as this and it melted in our mouth. You can definitely tell a different between boxed Waffle ones and homemade ones.
